You’d like to do this

The role will focus on multi-format user, product, and corporate documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills to interface with other areas of the business like the Business Development (BD) team and BlueHalo Marketing & Communications. Candidate should have a good understanding of design, layout, typography, and information hierarchy principles. We’re looking for self-starters who can ask for and receive feedback and be able to take ownership of small design projects. There is also opportunity to gain experience in UX design processes and workflows. Candidate will directly support the RF-CUAS Design team.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Basic knowledge in prepress formating (print layout, publishing, color models, etc.)
  • Detail oriented proofreading/ability to check work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools and platforms (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Basic proficiency with Figma and/or collaborative design tools

You’re required to have this

  • Degree in progress or recent graduate in design, marketing, communications or related field
  • Portfolio of ideally both print and digital design work
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego for 20 to 40 hours
  • Must be a US Citizen with appropriate identification
