As a Senior Cybersecurity Architect with our Intel Division, you will work with various DoD entities to collaborate on cybersecurity strategy, focusing on being on the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhance security of DoD information systems and its mission critical data. Ensure that the stakeholder security requirements are adequately addressed in all aspects of enterprise architecture including reference models, segment and solution architectures, and the resulting systems supporting those missions and business processes. Validate and veriify system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs. Design, develop, implement and integrate IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements. Support the building of security architectures. Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures. Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification, and awareness activities for system and networking operations.

You’d like to do this

  • Apply the methods, standards, and approaches for describing, analyzing, and documenting an organization's enterprise information technology architecture (i.e. TOGAG, DoDAF)
  • Perform architecture reviews to ensure network security architecture concepts, including topology, protocols, components, and principles, are appropriately applied
  • Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats and design architecture elements to mitigate emerging threats
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements that are relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, and non-repudiation
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
  • Help set strategic direction for information security initiatives, processes, and standards
  • Research, evaluate and drive next-generation security technologies and concepts
  • Conduct and attend project meetings to provide security and governance input throughout project lifecycles
  • Document and address organization's information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle
  • Provide input to the risk management framework process activities and related documentation
  • Evaluate security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response based on identified requirements
  • Translate proposed capabilities into technical requirements

You’re required to have this

  • Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a Cybersecurity Architect
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university
  • An active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Certifications (at least one required):

  • CASP+ CE
  • CISSP
  • CSLP
