BlueHalo is seeking a talented Electrical or Computer Engineer with hardware design experience to join our team as a High Speed PCB Designer. In this role you will work with digital circuits, programmable logic devices, digital radio, embedded systems, and supporting circuits. The engineer must understand the engineering process, from design kick-off to production.

You’d like to do this

  • Oversee other members of the technical staff
  • Perform board-level circuit design, schematic entry, components research and selection, component engineering, engineering analyses, printed circuit board layout and routing, engineering documentation, and design reviews
  • Utilize high-speed PCB design techniques, including the development of sequential-lamination, high-density interconnect (HDI) multilayer boards 
  • Work with embedded systems, data interfaces (e.g., Ethernet, PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI), memory technologies (e.g., DDR-DRAM, Flash), and RF subsystems

You’re required to have this

  • 8+ years of engineering experience
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering 
  • Experience using design tools such as: Altium, ORCAD/Cadence, PSpice
  • Experience with high-speed/RF PCB design techniques, including the development of sequential-lamination, high-density interconnect (HDI) multilayer boards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • This position requires the successful candidate to have and maintain an active federal security clearance, TS/SCI clearance with a poly is required.
