BlueHalo is seeking a Customer Outreach Specialist to work with end users and ensure that our software and analytics tools are in sync with their needs. This position will involve training end users, gathering requirements, performing technical troubleshooting, and regularly communicating with users to ensure a positive customer experience. This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and will be located on customer site in Northern VA. 



  • Technical Support - Provide direct user support troubleshooting and create bug reports for developers to act upon; answer help questions via phone, email and instant messenger; identify and document bugs and issues; maintain a knowledge base of common responses; test new and existing tool features
  • Customer Communication - Gather and document user requirements; gather feedback and communicate user requests and concerns
  • Training - Provide training to new users and existing users about the application and new features via in-person presentations and video teleconferences as well as individualized walkthroughs; create and maintain training materials (documentation, videos, blogs, etc.) 



  • You have at least 4 years of experience supporting software analysis, requirements, integration, testing, user workflows and tool features
  • You've supported and used various Intelligence Community mission tools (Military/Civilian/Contractor Intel analyst/reporting/linguist experience is a plus)
  • You have demonstrated experience training both large and small groups and have developed supporting software and training documentation using Confluence
  • You're comfortable working with software development teams and using JIRA
  • You're interested in contributing to overall process improvement and efficiencies
  • You hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
