BlueHalo Defense is seeking applicants to serve as the Business Development Director for technical and engineering services relevant to US DoD Ground, Air, and Missile Defense. BlueHalo’s technical services are focused on solving extremely difficult problems for our US Department of Defense customers in the areas of air and missile defense, counter unmanned aerial systems, command, command, control and communications (C3), test and evaluation; and across multiple disciplines including system engineering integration and test, modeling, simulation and analysis, facility and laboratory operations, operations support, and research and development.
The Business Development Director’s duties will include business development, leading or participating in capture development, bid and proposal activities, and customer interface.
The successful candidate must possess at least ten (10) years of experience in business development with the customer base including but not limited to the Huntsville AL, Fayetteville, NC, Columbia SC, Lawton OK, Detroit MI, and Washington DC areas. Proficiency in new business opportunity prospecting, experience contributing and managing a business opportunity pipeline, and a track record of proven success in winning contracts.
This position requires excellent communication skills with co-workers, customers, and Government agencies, and a focus on upfront marketing to influence future funding for capture opportunities. The Business Development Director is expected to bring current and relevant industry and DoD contacts, vision, and relevant technical knowledge to support winning business in the DoD Ground, Air and Missile Defense.
