Business Analyst - Cloud

The Cloud Business Analyst will provide financial analysis, develop budgets, and create dashboard reporting for management personnel supporting Cloud usage.  This position is hybrid onsite in Reston/Herndon.

 

Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial reports based on cloud usage and give cost recommendations to management on proper system recommendations.
• Work closely with Cloud Engineers to understand cloud services
• Coordinates financial analysis matters with other departments
• Prepares basic forecasts and analyzes trends and financial/general business conditions & report on financial & expense performance.
• Provide ad hoc report to Cloud team and management on cost analysis required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/accounting or related field
• Minimum five (5) years of related experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and in ambiguous situations
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial planning and analysis reports and presenting information to management
• Willingness to learn and use Cloud Infrastructure Consoles (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Budget/Forecast/Cost experience in a government contracting environment
• Experience with Cloud Systems
• Finance experience
