The Network Test Engineer will work as part of an integrated team to formulate and define solutions utilizing a strong background in embedded Linux foundations, both user-space and kernel-mode.  We are focused on providing our customers expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities.  

 

Minimum/Required Qualifications: 

 

• Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph 


• 8+ years of experience 


• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or 4 additional years of TE experience without a Bachelor's degree. 

• Knowledge of telecom networks 


• Test automation experience required 


• Knowledge of networking protocols required (e.g. TCP/IP, ARP, ETHERNET, MPLS) 


• Familiarity with network traces 


• Familiarity with Linux operating system 

• Hands on experience with test equipment like packet generators, Ixia/Spirent 

 

Desired Qualifications (Note that a candidate does not necessarily need to possess all of the items listed.) 

• Scripting experience is a plus 


• Experience/knowledge setting up GRE or IPSEC 


• Basic familiarity with SVN or GIT version control systems and understanding of basic CM principles 


• Basic familiarity with JIRA or other ticketing tools 


• Basic understanding of the C programming language 


• Familiarity with basic VLAN/VPN/NAT concepts
