BlueHalo is looking for a talented mechanical engineer with electronics packaging experience – the design, draft, prototype, test, and manufacture of electronic and mechanical designs. The engineer should have experience in a variety of materials and material processing techniques. Hands-on processing (e.g., milling, vacuum casting) skills are a plus, as are reverse engineering and design duplication. Experience in the ruggedization of electronics to mil-spec environments also a benefit. The engineer must be able to allocate requirements, interact with other members of the technical staff, components research and selection, component engineering, engineering analyses and documentation, and design reviews. The engineer must understand the overall engineering process, from design kick-off to production; and, must be capable of interacting with the various disciplines involved in production of an electronic product.

• TS/SCI w/Poly
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5+ years of electronics packaging experience
• Design tool experience such as:  SolidWorks CAD+flowsim, FeatureCAM, MS-Office, Visio, SVN
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and desire to work in a team environment solving challenging problems
