BlueHalo is looking for a Business developer responsible for identifying, qualifying, capturing and winning product, solution and service contracts for BlueHalo. Independently initiates, develops and maintains customer business relationships in federal / DoD markets.  Identifies, develops, qualifies and captures business opportunities relevant to key BlueHalo areas of interest in national defense, including Space Superiority, Directed Energy, C4ISR, Air & Missile Defense, Cyber Operations and Intelligence. 


Key duties include:

  • Work closely with technical teams and customers to define and refine differentiated offerings that meet customer needs and address customer wants, all within customer budget constraints.
  • Coordinate closely with P&L stakeholders to ensure alignment of resources and new business priorities with the needs to grow their respective portfolios.
  • Establish and execute partner strategies to increase Pwin and reduce execution risk on new business opportunities.
  • Establish, track, analyze and report on a clear set of decision quality business metrics that can support company growth.
  • Assists in the development of marketing strategies and provides input into long range business plans.  
  • Leads or participates in trade shows and conferences and bid and proposal activities. 


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of successful federal business development experience, including experience working bid and proposal activities as a capture manager, proposal manager or volume lead is required. 
  • Prior military, DoD civil service or defense contracting experience is required, Air Force or Space Force is preferred. 
  • Minimum Secret clearance and TS/SCI is desired.
